Southwest Airlines promo codes & deals

Southwest is one of the biggest airlines in the United States — and it’s known as “the world’s largest low-cost carrier.” That means you can find great deals on flights to more than 100 destinations in the U.S., 10 countries in Central America and the Caribbean.

The price and available destinations aren’t the only reasons Southwest is such a popular airline. You can also find great Southwest deals and coupons. For the best deal possible, we love booking our Southwest flights when there is a fare sale. Using a coupon is another way that we get our flights for up to 50% off!

If you decide not to fly because Southwest canceled your flight or your flight is significantly delayed, you can get a refund to your original method of payment (even on nonrefundable tickets). Southwest Airlines will process your refund within 7 business days.

Otherwise, you can only get a refund from Southwest Airlines if:

• You have Choice Extra and Choice Preferred tickets.
• You cancel your reservation within 24 hours of booking it.

You can cancel your Southwest flight up to 10 minutes before your original scheduled departure. If you don't show up and don’t cancel or change your flight, Southwest Airline's no-show policy will apply.

Here's how to easily cancel your flight booking:

• Go to Manage reservations on Southwest's website or app.
• Find your reservation using your confirmation number and name.
• Select "Cancel."

Sales are rare for most airlines, but Southwest is different. This iconic airline often has fare sales. In fact, these sales happen almost every Tuesday. During the unofficial fare sales, travelers who shop Tuesday through Thursday can find deals on one-way flights to select destinations, with prices as low as $49.

Best of all, Southwest fare sales apply to both cash bookings and Southwest points redemption.
