Trainline promo codes & deals

Yes, a season ticket is valid in the UK and is good for unlimited travel between specific stations. This is perfect if you're a student or worker living abroad for an extended period of time. You can get your season ticket electronically or delivered by mail.

Trainline also has discount cards to use in the UK and France. These are typically for workers, students, or seniors. Your eligibility is determined based on several factors, including which stations you're traveling to.

Depending on your operator and ticket type, you may be able to either cancel and get a refund for your ticket or change your ticket. Trainline will tell you the key conditions before you select the tickets, but it's important you also check the operator's terms and conditions directly.

As well as paying for any difference in cost for your new ticket, you may be charged a fee to change, cancel, or refund your ticket. These fees are sometimes determined by the operators and will be detailed in the booking service as well as their terms and conditions.

Refunds exclude booking fees. This means if you paid a booking fee when you booked your ticket, if you request a refund of your ticket, you will not also receive a refund of the booking fee.
