Expedia promo codes & deals

Ready to book your fall/winter getaway? Expedia is an online travel booking agency for booking not just flights and hotels, but also vacation rentals, cruises, rental cars and other vacation services to destinations around the world. You can even package your trips into one itinerary for a potential bundle discount and find activities to do on your next getaway. For extra savings, use Expedia coupon codes and browse its deals and sales on flights and hotels to get the most out of your next travel excursion.

There are a lot of moving parts to any getaway, and Expedia makes it easy to find the information you need. Its travel consultants are available 24 hours a day, and you can easily review or adjust your trip by hopping on live chat with a Virtual Agent or opting to speak with a live representative.

Expedia’s Help Center is another great resource for finding information about TSA and customs policies, travel alerts and advisories, and cancelation policies that may vary for hotels, flights and rentals. You can also contact Expedia by phone at 1-800-EXPEDIA (1-800- 397-3342) or through email at help@expedia.com.

You may have unexpected surprises that change your trip plans, so most bookings are eligible for a refund or credit at Expedia. However, cancellations and refunds, as well as any fees, are subject to the policies of Expedia’s third-party partners, like the hotel you booked with or the airline you are using.

You can review terms specific to your trip on Expedia’s website or in your booking confirmation. Hotels usually provide a full refund if you cancel 24 to 48 hours before your arrival date. Airline tickets and other bookings may provide a cancellation period where you can get a refund, but receiving a travel credit that can be used on a future trip is more common.

For its One Key rewards members, Expedia provides a Hotel Price Guarantee. If you find the same hotel reservation at a lower price on Expedia or another site after booking, Expedia will issue a price adjustment in the form of OneKeyCash. You can submit a price claim any time before your check-in date.

Expedia customers can also purchase Price Drop Protection for flights. With this service, Expedia will automatically check the price of your flight once every 24 hours between the day you book and the day you depart. If Expedia finds a lower-priced ticket on the same trip (including the same airline, flight, travel date and time, and fare class), you’ll get a payment for the difference after completing your trip.

Expedia partners with Affirm to let travelers finance their vacations on a payment plan. Select the Affirm monthly payments option during checkout to check your eligibility without affecting your credit score. Affirm installment plans are available for three to 12 months, depending on your purchase total, and are subject to interest charges.

Similarly, Expedia customers can “book” now, pay later on select hotels. While it’s not a payment plan per se, customers can reserve their hotel and delay their payment to a later date. Sometimes, a deposit may be required, and you’ll have to pay for the booking in full before a deadline before your check-in date.
