About Garden Goods Direct
About Garden Goods Direct
If you love the idea of shopping from a real nursery instead of a warehouse, Garden Goods Direct is the closest thing to strolling through your local garden center—without leaving your porch. Rooted (literally) on a family farm in Bowie, Maryland, they’ve been growing and shipping plants for decades. From privacy shrubs and flowering trees to houseplants and seeds, everything comes backed by horticultural expertise you can trust. It’s more than an online shop; it’s like having a gardener’s best-kept secret bookmarked.
Questions shoppers ask about Garden Goods Direct
What’s the shipping and delivery policy?
Ground shipping is free once your order crosses the set threshold (before taxes/after discounts). Most orders ship via FedEx Ground within 1 to 5 business days, though larger or seasonal items may take longer. Multiple plant types might ship separately, depending on growing zones. All shipments are discreetly packed to keep plants safe in transit.
What’s the return policy?
All sales are final since plants are living products. However, every order is insured, and you can purchase a one-year warranty for extra peace of mind.
How do discounts and gift cards work?
Enter your promo code or gift card during checkout, and the savings will apply automatically. Only one discount can be used per order.
What does the optional one-year warranty cover?
The warranty protects trees, shrubs, and perennials planted directly in the ground. It won’t cover damage from extreme weather, pests, pets, or if plants are left in containers instead of planted. To claim, you’ll need to submit photos and a form for the horticultural team to review.
Does Garden Goods Direct offer planting help?
Yes! Their team provides expert advice through their blog and customer service. From how to prep soil before planting to troubleshooting droopy leaves, you’re not left on your own after your order arrives.
