Priceline's VIP program is free to join and will give you immediate savings. But one thing we have found is that booking through Priceline can prevent you from getting points through other brands (like Hilton Honors or Marriot Bonvoy). If you are a traveler that prefers a certian brand, then booking directly through that brand may give you more rewards than booking through Priceline. But if you aren't partial to a specific brand, Priceline's VIP program is definately worth joining!

What is Priceline's Best Price Match Guarantee?

Priceline's "Best Price Guarantee" is their policy for VIP members, which states that if a VIP member finds a better price on any website within 24 hours of booking, they will refund the difference. Standard deals are covered up to 100% and Express deals are covered up to 200%

Express deals can get this refund up to midnight the night before the booking date.

Their policy also states that they will refund up to 200% of the difference, up to the full cost of the reservation.
