About Uber Eats
About Uber Eats
Uber Eats is a food delivery platform operating in multiple countries, including the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. As a subsidiary of Uber, it allows customers to order meals from local restaurants and goods from nearby stores through its app (with delivery fees). Supporting over 800,000 restaurants and stores, Uber Eats offers a wide range of options, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, family meals, and more.
Once an order is placed, a driver—an independent contractor—picks it up and delivers it. The app’s tracking system lets customers follow their order from preparation to delivery. Drivers earn money based on mileage, tips, and a flat fee for each delivery. Don’t forget to use our RetailMeNot Uber Eats promo codes to save on your next order!

Shipping
What is Uber Eats' shipping and delivery policy?
Uber Eats service and delivery fees are based on your order total, driver availability and delivery location. Additional Uber Eats delivery fees you may encounter include a small-order fee, delivery adjustment fee (if you update or change your order), or government fees based on the state or city you live in.
Track your order directly in the app. First, you’ll see when the restaurant accepts and begins preparing your meal. Once it's almost ready, a nearby delivery person—whether by car, bike, or scooter—will head to the restaurant to pick it up. From there, they’ll deliver it to your location, and you can view their name, photo, and real-time progress on the map.
