Eddie Bauer is a premium outdoor clothing store that has been in operation for over a century. Its product line includes classic outerwear, thermals and baselayers, casual sportswear, boots and shoes, backpacks, sleeping bags, and home products.

Eddie Bauer is a pioneer in outdoor clothing and patented the first insulated quilted goose-down jacket way back in 1940. Since then, the brand has been at the forefront of designing durable, comfortable products that withstand rugged outdoor elements. Eddie Bauer is also a major player in high-end gear for cold-weather activities like backpacking and mountaineering. Its top-rated products include the First Ascent expedition-class technical gear and the award-winning EverTherm Down Jacket.

For its Adventure Rewards members, Eddie Bauer offers free standard shipping within the U.S. on orders of $75 or more, but you can occasionally find free shipping coupons and promotions during the year as well. If you’re not a rewards member, you can place an order of $100 or more to snag free shipping.

Standard delivery takes 5-6 business days in the U.S. Expedited options such as 3-Day, 2-Day, and Overnight shipping are available on most items for an additional fee. However, expedited shipping is unavailable to P.O. Boxes, U.S. territories and APO/FPO addresses.

In addition to shipping to all 50 states, Eddie Bauer also delivers to Canada. Rewards members can get free standard shipping to Canada on orders of $100 or more ($125 minimum for non-members). These orders arrive in 5-7 business days, but expedited shipping (1-4 days) is also available for an additional charge.

Customers can complete the return for online purchases at a local Eddie Bauer store or by mail. Mailed returns are subject to a return shipping fee; however, this fee is waived if you use an Eddie Bauer Credit Card to complete the purchase or purchase the item during a free returns promotion. Eddie Bauer's return policies for purchases made through these sites may vary from the regular store policy.

Eddie Bauer Adventure Rewards program members earn rewards points on every purchase online or in stores. There are three reward levels based on how much you spent in the previous year, with each level also including free shipping on qualifying purchases for active members.

• Adventurer: Members with an annual spend under $300 earn three points back in rewards for every dollar spent, and they get free shipping on orders of $75 or more.
• Explorer: You can become an Explorer by spending $300 to $599 at Eddie Bauer in the previous year, which bumps rewards up to four points per dollar spent and free shipping requiring only a $50 purchase.
• Guide: The highest level Guide membership is reserved for customers who have spent $600 or more during the prior year. They enjoy the best perks, which include five reward points per dollar spent and free shipping and free returns on all orders.

Once 500 points are collected, Eddie Bauer will issue a $5 reward certificate at the end of the quarter. Otherwise, reward balances stay active as long as you make a purchase once every 12 months.

Other benefits of being a rewards member include early access to new products and sales, exclusive Eddie Bauer coupons and discounts, and a birthday gift.

Eddie Bauer offers in-store price matches to its online prices. However, some exclusions apply, and customers may be limited to one price match per item, per day. Eddie Bauer does not provide price matches to other merchants that sell its brand merchandise.

Shoppers can choose Klarna during checkout at Eddie Bauer to pay for their purchases on a flexible payment plan. Klarna features a Pay in 4 option that splits the purchase total into four interest-free installments for qualifying customers. With this buy now, pay later option, customers make the first payment at the time of purchase, and additional installments are paid every two weeks.

In-store pickup is available for online purchases at Eddie Bauer, but it only applies to merchandise that is currently in stock at your selected store. Customers can usually get same-day pickup when they place their order by 5 p.m. local time.
